he appellant Shri. Sabu Johny the Managing Director of EVM Passenger Cars Pvt Ltd Thiruvalla is a commercial consumer of the Licensee KSEBL.The consumer number is 1146408017269 and connected load was 79 Kw under LT 7 A tariff. The appellant requested the licensee to enhance the connected load to 132 Kw on 16/06/2023 and also opted for demand based tariff with contract demand of 70 KvA. The application fee was remitted on 25/07/2023. On site inspection it is noted that the transformer was overloaded and hence not feasible to enhance the connected load to 132 Kw. The load enhancement could be possible either by installing a separate transformer or enhancing the capacity of the existing transformer. A demand notice has been send to the appellant for Rs.5,12,655/- including the cost of a new 100 KvA transformer for the first option. Another estimate of Rs. 3,18,555/- has also been intimated for enhancing the capacity of the existing transformer. The consumer has been intimated that there is a chance to exceeded the maximum demand than the contracted demand which will overload the system. The appellant approached CGRF and CGRF ordered that the respondent is directed to execute the work after the appellant remitting the estimate amount. Aggrieved with the decision the appellant filed this appeal petition. Subsequent on submission of appeal the appellant submitted the letter stating that the petition is withdrawn as the respondent has complied with the requirement. |
