 3. Unauthorized additional load and issuance of short assessment bill being the arrears of penalization charges – P/362/2013 – Saseendran S, Aluva.

| The consumer has availed unauthorized additional load and remitted the penal bill issued by the Board. Further the consumer was issued a short assessment bill as arrears of penalization charges for the said UAL. Disposed with direction to limit the penalization for one year in continuation of the date of inspection. |
| 5. Non-segregation of power and light loads – short assessment bill issued – p/351/2013 – Smt. Laila Sasikumar, Ernakulam.

| The HT industrial consumer was issued short assessment bill being the penal charges for non-segregation of power and light loads in the industry for a certain period. It is held that the extra charges shall be limited to the month of origin of the arrear bill issued by KSEB, since notice has to be served to the consumer. |
| 7. Shifting of the electric OH line passing through the complainant’s property – P/356/2013 - Smt. Rajalakshmi, Kollam.

| The complainant has approached the KSEB for shifting the 11 KV line drawn through her property without obtaining her consent. The Board prepared an estimate and demanded to remit the same. Aggrieved by the huge sum demanded and inaction of the KSEB, this dispute originated. Appeal petition is found having merits and is allowed to certain extent. |
