| The Ombudsman has decided on a Petition that the NIIT Franchisee comes under LT VI B tariff only and will not fall under ‘Self Financing Educational Institution which attracts a commercial rate tariff. As the institution was running only computer related courses and since there exists specific tariff for Computer Institute as LT VI B, it has to be allotted. The KSEB requests to review the Order. |
