A KSEB squad inspected the premises of the consumer and found that the premise was being used for commercial activities instead of domestic tariff alone and the connected load has increased substantially. The consumer was served a provisional bill for unauthorized use of electricity under sec 126 of IE Act 2003. The cause for the dispute is whether CGRF has power to adjudicate such cases and whether the AE himself has to make an inspection to assess a consumer under Section 126 of IE Act, 2003 among other things. |
