| Electricity from domestic connection in the premises of the consumer was seen used to pump water to the nearby situated ice plant, owned by the consumer, under industrial tariff. Since this is a case of misuse of tariff, detected in an inspection and the consumer was issued a provisional penal bill. Consumer filed objections before the AE who revised the penal bill and later he approached the Dy. Chief Engineer, the appellate authority. The appellate authority confirmed the orders of the AE and disposed the petition accordingly. The consumer approached the CGRF who dismissed the petition stating he lacks jurisdiction in entertaining a complaint against under Section 126 and 127 of the Act. |
