| The KSEB demanded costs to install the Ring Main Unit (RMU) for giving supply to the appellant’s high rise building. The petition is against the demand of the cost of RMU included in the sanctioned estimate, in a place where the Licensee has not laid any UG Cables so far. The consumer requested to effect supply without remitting the required amount for RMU and is willing to remit same when the Cable is laid. The case is disposed with a direction to the KSEB to release the connection by collecting all other estimate costs, as required as per rules, except the cost of RMU and accepting the Undertaking offered. |
