The KSEB officials inspected the premises of the industrial consumer and found that the CT ratio was wrongly taken and monthly bills were issued accordingly. Thus the previous bills to the consumer were raised only for half of the actual energy he has consumed. Hence a short assessment bill was served to the consumer-Supplementary bill to recover the loss.
Delay to register electric connection to the owner on alleging anomaly on another connection of the same consumer– deficiency of service from the side of Licensee - P/213/2011 - Sajitha P. Koorath, Nadapuram, Kozhikode.

The consumer has applied for 4 No’s of connection to the newly constructed shops. The officials of KSEB found that a WP wire drawn to the applicant’s house touching the commercial building and for providing safety clearance from the said building an estimate was prepared and a notice was issued. The anomaly pointed out was for another existing connection of the applicant. It should not be clubbed with the processing of the application for new electric connections.

Excess demand raised from the consumer as per the ToD billing procedure adopted by the KSEB for different time zones- Excess billing for 3 zones instead of Maximum excess load per day-by deviating from the direction issued in the order on ‘Rationalisation of ToD (Time of Day) tariff for HT-EHT consumers’ by the Regulatory Commission.
