The petitioner Shri. Sudheer Kumar is not a consumer. The dispute is regarding the consumer no. 1166364008901 in the name of Shri. Kumaran.E under the Electrical Section, Mankavu. This is a commercial connection under the tariff LT 7 A with connected load 420 W. The consumer was not paid the current charges since 12/2019 and hence the power was disconnected. Then the notice was issued on 27/01/2022 stating to clear the arrears within 15 days failing which the power would be disconnected. The consumer has not paid the arrears and hence the power connection was dismantled on 30/04/2022. The arrear was Rs. 1631/- and after adjusting the CD, the amount payable was Rs. 1090/-. This amount was paid by the petitioner on 04/05/2022 and requested for re-connection. As the power connection was dismantled and removed there is no provision for re-connection and they have to apply for a new connection. The owner of the building and the original consumer is not ready to apply for new connection. The petitioner has approached CGRF for the resolution of his grievance. As he was not the bonafide consumer, the case would have been rejected. However CGRF issued an order dismissing the petition. This petition is filed by the petitioner as an appeal to the order of the CGRF.
