Detection of anomalies in the meter of the industrial consumer by APTS, KSEB – issuance of penal bill – P/257/2012 & P/268/2012 – Mohammedkutty K.V., Thrissur
The Anti-Power Theft Squad of KSEB detected some anomalies on the meter like, Meter seal break, duplicate seal and non- recording of energy in the meter of the consumer. The consumer was served with a penal bill and later the supply was disconnected as the consumer failed to remit the bill. The consumer challenged the calculation of short assessment bill issued to him.
