Tariff fixation of Amusement Park – whether Amusement park will fall under commercial or industrial tariff – P/315/2012 – Simon K Francis (Dream World), Chalakkudy.
The complainant’s establishment is an Amusement Park and KSEB is charging commercial tariff for electric supply to the consumer. The consumer argues that his establishment comes under industrial category and hence eligible for tariff under HT 1 industrial. The consumer had made representation requesting change of tariff from HT- IV commercial to HT- I industrial. It is held that the consumer belongs to commercial category and accordingly deserves a commercial tariff.
