| The burning hours of street lights were wrongly calculated as six hours which were actually burned for 12 hours, which was found in the audit inspection. Since the arrear bill pertains to very old period and it is not possible to verify the accuracy of the burning hours of street lights at that time, requests to set aside the impugned bill. It is held that no street lights are switched off after midnight, that is after 6 hours of operation and consumer has the liability of paying the charges for electricity, they have consumed. It is directed to revise the bill, limiting to the last two years. |
