Demand of the consumer to install the meter at his house (at the end of the UG Cable) for his UG cable electric service connection- P/327/2012 – Rahmath Beevi, Kottayam.
The appellant has applied for conversion of her existing 1- phase UG Cable electric service connection to three phase UG connection. It was directed the consumer to shift the position of the meter from the existing place (at the wall of house) to the beginning of the cable i.e. at the boundary of the premises or near the gate of the premises of the consumer. Held that the consumer is bound to act as per the prevailing regulations, as there exists specific rule to provide such UG connections.
