Bill issued to the consumer by the KSEB for higher consumption of electricity for two months – Complait reg- P/350/2013 – Khader Pillai, Kochi.
The consumer’s meter has recorded high consumption for two months and accordingly a bill was issued to him as per the meter reading. The consumer complaints that the excess reading in the electronic meter was due to voltage surge or dial jump. Though the test done with ‘Check meter’ installed along with the meter under dispute, has showed the meter as good one, the consumer was not convinced and hence filed this petition. The respondent has been directed to revise the disputed bill based on the previous bimonthly consumption.
