Disconnection of power supply of the consumer without giving a notice – P/346/2013 – Subramanian G., Idukki.
The appellant was an employee and occupier of the Licensee’s company quarters. The appellant has not vacated the quarters after his retirement and the company disconnected the power supply to the quarters as per the request of its registered consumer. It is held that the appellant is eligible for reconnection with in 24 hrs and the respondent is ordered to pay compensation for illegal disconnection of electric supply.
