| The consumer has availed unauthorized additional load and remitted the penal bill issued by the Board. Further the consumer was issued a short assessment bill as arrears of penalization charges for the said UAL. Disposed with direction to limit the penalization for one year in continuation of the date of inspection. |

| The electric meter installed in the premises of the domestic consumer was found faulty and the party was issued with a back assessment for the meter faulty period. It is held that the consumer is bound to pay the charges for electricity he has consumed and ordered to reassess the back arrears for a period of one year prior to meter change based on the average 6 months consumption after replacing the faulty meter. |

| The HT industrial consumer was issued short assessment bill being the penal charges for non-segregation of power and light loads in the industry for a certain period. It is held that the extra charges shall be limited to the month of origin of the arrear bill issued by KSEB, since notice has to be served to the consumer. |
